City gardens
City gardens are an oasis of greenery in the middle of the city dominated by pastel buildings. The garden’s size is quite impressive. It is perfect to for a family to spend there at least a couple of hours. In the garden there is a city zoo with an aviary, a café serving sandwiches, a lot of green areas and interesting recesses. In the first weeks of September the famous Wine Festival takes place. Then every adult tourist may, in return for a minimum charge, taste wines that are produced by indigenous producers from the whole Cyprus.
