Bazaar and mosques

The area of the old city in Limassol and the castle consists of narrow lanes that in the past were parts of the trade district. Now this quarter is dominated by small shops and snack bars, on the other hand, if we both plunge into the far-flung region of the city and keep our eyes open, we may be honoured to see the bazaar and the mosques. Only Cami Kabir functions as a place of prayers of Turks and Muslims from Cyprus. Cami Jedid, however, can be admired only from the outside. Near to Cami Kabir there is a market hall which is worth our attention. En route there will be a possibility to see a church from the nineteenth century.
