Sports and leisure time

Limassol is characterised by beaches but also nightlife. During the day we have an opportunity to participate in beach entertainments, on the other hand in the evenings and during the night all the taverns and clubs in the city are opened.

Troodos

The only mountains of Cyprus are available almost from every place on the island, nonetheless if we want to focus on visiting the most interesting places on this island and we plan to visit Troodos, it is better to set off from Limassol.

Kourion

Kourion is an obligatory place to be visited except for Limassol. It encapsulates the essence of the ancient world – the ruins of the prehistoric mansion, the amphitheatre with the view of the sea and the Temple of Apollo.

The Aphrodite’s Beach

There are a lot of legends about the origin of Aphrodite, but only one fact is undeniable – the appearance of Aphrodite in the vicinity of Cyprus and more precisely next to Limassol.

The Archaeological Museum

The Archaeological Museum in Limassol has got a considerable assemblage from the Bronze Age as well as geometrical and archaic periods.

The Museum of Folk Art
